1 inch gap above header

    Hi all, I have about an inch of space above the header logo. I just can’t seem to figure out how to get it down to at least 1/2 inch. I’m sure its really easy, I’m just scratching my head.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Do you have Google Chrome?

    In Chrome right click your logo and select the option “Select element”.

    In the toolbar that appears look at the HTML. Hover your mouse over the HTML elements nearby. In Chrome’s developer toolbar (the thing that’s open) the colour green represents padding and orange margin.

    Once you find the responsible element click on it and then look at the right-hand column for the CSS responsible.

    You need to override that CSS in your Child Theme style.css file.

    I was using the firefox inspector, but still couldn’t figure it out.
    I’ll go and try chrome. i like the color aspect!

    That’s okay.

    Btw Firebug as a developer tool (but an add-on) can do much more stuff than Chrome, but I find Chrome’s developer tools really easy and intuitive to use.
