1 path was skipped for the malware scan

    One of the results I received from my scan was the following:

    1 path was skipped for the malware scan due to scan settings
    Type: Skipped Paths

    The path skipped is ~/<mysite>.com

    I’m not sure if I should select the option to “Scan files outside your WordPress installation” or “mark as fixed” since I don’t know what this file is. Can someone advise?

    Is this path directly related to the site you’re scanning or is it pointing at a possible subdomain?

    If you use FTP or a file manager, navigate to that folder and make sure its a normal folder.
