1 star for the bait-and-switch

  • This is a premium plugin that requires payment, but the user isn’t told that until they try to adjust the plugin’s options after installing. Maybe the paid version is great – who knows? I’m giving it one star, partly for wasting my time, and mostly because it doesn’t do what it purports to do.

    Dear Desertfrog our free version is made to show the functionality of our Lightbox.
    Pro version is for those who needs to give styles to Lightbox.
    We recently made updates and opened some options which was in pro, now they are in free version.
    We think, your review is not topical. Please try our new versions and maybe you will change your rating and opinion

    When you say “not topical” I assume you mean “no longer relevant”. My review was based on the version of the plugin that was available in January 2014. If you’ve revised the plugin since then, I hope other users will take that into account.
