• ALL data in GA dashboard is gone since I activated this plugin.

The next day after activating, I checked my data on the GA dashboard and visitors went to ZERO! The missing data showed up on the GADWP dashboard but with too much info only available in the paid upgrade! I disabled the plugin and deleted it.. and STILL GA shows ZERO visitors in a span that should show at least some.

Reports from the real GA dashboard will show now THREE days with NO visitors.
    THIS IS HORRIBLE!

So there’s some good news here! It’s actually impossible for any plugin to DELETE your data from Google Analytics! They can’t delete it, they can’t exit it, and they can’t stop it from showing.

If the official Google dashboard is showing nothing but the plugin is, then either you’re looking at the wrong account or you accidentally connected the plugin to the wrong account.

Either way, it absolutely can’t nuke things on Google, so the data’s there.

    Dear @ipstenu,

Of course, ExactMetrics cannot delete our Google Analytics data, but the message they display when disconnecting our site(s) from this plugin says the opposite:

    Successfully deauthenticated.
You’ve disconnected your site from ExactMetrics. Your site is no longer being tracked by Google Analytics and you won’t see reports anymore.

This clearly induces site administrators to think that we will lose our data, obviously with the intention of reconnecting the plugin.

Except … this is 100% correct.

Your site is no longer being tracked by Google Analytics

You turned off tracking. It says nothing about the data, and that is in no way the ‘opposite.’ It is clearly saying your site won’t be tracked and data will not be sent to google.

You could say “you won’t see reports in WP Admin anymore.” but that’s about the only possible confusing bit.

Hello Ipstenu (Mika Epstein), am reaching out to you because i find using www.ads-software.com and most links point to wordpress.com very confusing i have many issues with my site and then i had a site update that just made things worst. now through hours of searching it seems that wordpress work along side github am not familar with the structure of github but if your a developer or plugin expert ora developer there are specific sections for you to submit work updates ect ect. but i just could.nt find anything for user help in general could you give me a few specifics how to navigate through wp- of github to get some help and advice please.
