I installed WordPress and then set it up as a multisite at https://www.ozbizonline.com.au making changes as needed to wp-config and htaccess. I then added the first subdomain which is mygsq.ozbizonline.com.au and this is showing in the Network Admin. I can do all of what is needed for that site. I then added a second subdomain called gsq-blog.ozbizonline.com.au but it is not showing as one of my sites on the drop down from My Sites. It is only when I select Network Admin and then Sites that all 3 show up – the main site and the 2 subdomains. So again I can do all that is needed but don’t understand why only the main site and 1 subdomain show in the drop down menu from My Sites. Any advice would be appreciated on what I may have missed in the install.

  • Thats how multisite WP works. The user who is logged in wont see the site unless they have a role on that site. Add yourself as an admin to the subdomain site, then it should show in your drop down.

I am an administrator on the subdomain site. I am also the Super admin for the 3 sites. I am also an administrator with the same settings in the MyGSQ site which does appear in the drop down for My Sites.

UPDATE: I worked out that I had added myself as an administrator but as a new one rather than select me as an existing user. So I deleted me as the user and then added me again as an existing user and can now see all subdomains. Thanks for your help with this.

@kuroz, thank you. That helped a lot. I had the same problem.
