• I’ve noticed that Gmail gives this information about email sent from our WordPress-site:

SPF: SOFTFAIL med IP 194.14.207.239 L?s mer
    DKIM: ‘FAIL’ med dom?nen sendingservice.net L?s mer
    DMARC: ‘FAIL’ L?s mer

We have verified our DNS records and get 10/10 points on mail-tester.com

    What could be wrong?

    Hey there!

Thanks for contacting MailPoet, happy to help.

Can you look at the results here from mail-tester.com?

1 SPF record found for the domain smyck1.se :

    “v=spf1 a mx include:spf.inleed.se ip4:194.14.207.238 -all”
    DKIM check

Double check that that SPF record, including the domain inleed.se, are correct.

    DNS record for mailpoet1._domainkey.smyck1.se:

    dkim1.sendingservice.net.

We were not able to retrieve the key length, there is maybe an issue in that key`

Can you double check that the key there is correctly setup? It’s having an issue retrieving it.

I’ve talked to my hosting provider. They confirm that spf record is correct. DNS record for mailpoet1._domainkey.smyck1.se. is dkim1.sendingservice.net.

Regarding key length, what are you referring to?

    Hi @niska,

Users sending with MailPoet’s Sending Service usually don’t need to set up their own SPF, as messages will automatically have MailPoet Sending Service’s SPF set up and will be signed with MailPoet Sending Service’s DKIM.

As you can see from the Mail-Tester results, our server is properly authenticated and I see the DKIM record set up for smyck1.se is also correct.

We do not require any SPF record to be set up for your domain. As the emails are sent through our servers, it means that your domain and the MailPoet Sending Service domain SPFs won’t be aligned, that’s why you may note the SPF verification fails.

What I noticed from the information you shared is that it mentions the IP 194.14.207.239 instead of our sending service IP. Can you please let us know if these are emails sent from the MailPoet plugin to Gmail? Or are they being sent through our sending service from another plugin/WordPress itself (e.g.: transactional email)?

    Hi again

I can confirm that Gmail only complains when transactional email are sent from WooCommerce, for example when there is a new order.

This is the information we get in Gmail for some of the transactional emails:

    SOFTFAIL with IP 2a0b:dc80:cafe:108:0:0:0:1
    SOFTFAIL with IP 194.14.207.239
    SOFTFAIL with IP 93.188.3.35

Note: In MailPoet settings i have selected that all emails should be sent using MailPoeet. I have followed these instructions:

I’m still waiting for a reply. Maby there is a bug when transactional emails are sent from WooCommerce?
