• Thats right, I will give $10 to anyone who can get Live Search and Live Archives working on my site ($5 for just one or the other). I have tried multiple times but to no avail. I need very exact instructions on how to install because I’ve tried Fernando’s way to install Live Search and Michael’s way to install Live Archives and neither of them have worked for me.

What I am really looking for is to not have to modify any files, and by that I mean when the directions say “now replace yoursite.com/pathtoplugin/livesearch.php with your site” I don’t want to do that. The three things I want are:

    1. Pre-modified files (as stated above)
    2. Exact instructions of where to put files on my FTP
    3. Exact instrustion of how to setup my header.php, searchform.php and so on so everything works

BTW my site is https://www.workingbath.com/ and I don’t mind putting all the files for these plugins in the root directory.

  • Hi, I just stumbled accross this thread by googling ‘livesearch’.. I know its probably a bit late, but I’ve made a LiveSearch plugin that can be just dropped in your plugin directory, with a stylesheet file that has to go in your theme folder (so you can have a separate style for each theme, if you’re using multiple ones).

The only issue I can think of is that you’d need to replace your searchform.php file, but I can easily guide you around what you’d need to modify in your existing searchform.php if that’s a problem.

    Check it out
