1,000 Character Limit for Paragraph

  • Hello – it seems if you have a single paragraph with 1,000 characters (including spaces) CF7 does not include that paragraph or any content below that in the email. This happens in both plain text and HTML and will only go through if there are line breaks within the paragraph which then can mess up the formatting if this paragraph is part of instruction or other documents coded into the message body.

    I tested this by taking a block of text and using MS Word to count the characters+spaces and test it within a form. At 999 characters+spaces email was fine, at 1,000 exactly the email became blank.

    Contact Form 7 itself doesn’t have such character limits.

    Then would that mean something else is causing the limitation? Would it be the mail service doing it? Is the mail service that CF7 uses based on the host?

    I guess so. First, try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme. If this doesn’t work, contact your mail host.
