    – I am using the settings on two identical sites
    – I changed the other one to sandbox mode with sandbox details and no errors on checkout
    – but the live one is throwing this error

  • Hi @fredbangkas,

The error code 10001 L_ERRORCODE0 is very specific, and has a few items that may affect this.

    – The error can be related to the domain. Do you have an underscore in your domain, or is it a sub-domain? Sometimes PayPal has issues processing the type of domain if it has a special character such as an underscore.

    – Internal Error usually means that it is an internal PayPal error. From the PayPal documentation this is usually related to the settings with the Business account in PayPal’s side.

Please reach out to PayPal and double check your business settings, and see what they say. Let us know the response!

    Hi nixiack8

Yeah I think it was because Business Merchant was not verified by the owner thru the email. She said it is working now.

Quick Question can I use 1 business merchant API settings on 2 different sites although the owner of the sites are the same person.?

    Thanks for your reply

Yes, you can use the same PayPal account on multiple sites. You cannot, however, use multiple PayPal accounts on a single site, within the same plugin settings.
