Blank Thumbs on WP Community Theme Viewer?

  • When I visit the theme viewer, thumbnails and individual previews are blacked out. This began a few weeks ago with a few blacked out, then a few more, and now all are.

    Anyone know how to fix this? maybe a setting in my browser?
    I use Firefox 2.0.0.1.

  • Nope, I get them too. I’ve found only SOME of the templates are showing up blank, but the gross majority still work just fine.

    wonder what’s causing this. Hopefully someone will figure it out.

    Are you talking about themes.wordpress.net? There are some themes there which have no thumbs; Thomas is a singular entity, trying to do that whole site by himself – not surprising that sometimes themes get added but not thumbnailed.

    Just download them and put them up to take a look at, no big deal….

    That makes sense and is understandable -it is a big undertaking for one person.
    And now I know it’s not due to a quirk in my personal browser or Windows settings. Thank you for replying.

    When I go to the themes list at themes.wordpress.net, all the themes are blacked out. This even happens when I search for themes (when the search doesn’t return a totally blank page!). This makes the themes browser pretty pointless. Does anyone host a useful WordPress theme site?

    Yes, but that’s a temporary condition only. It’s certainly not a big deal.

    I was just wondering If I’m missing something, but I can’t find a link to the theme view anywhere on www.ads-software.com… if there is a link somewhere, where is it?

    EDIT: Since the last time I was there there, everything has turned to crap… a lot of the test run even don’t work for me. No wonder why I can’t find a link…
