Yes – definitely added 4 or 5 seconds to my load time.
Then I noticed that the monthly calendar header buttons (next month, previous month, categories ….) had stopped working. After which I realised that the js in the new event page had also stopped working. As well as being unable to edit settings.
This does nothing to solve it – indeed appears to be in a paid for function:
To fix this, please FTP your site, and go to Wp-content -> plugins -> All in one calendar -> all-in-one-calendar.php and delete the following code at line 128
unset( $plugins->active[ array_search( $basename, $plugins->active ) ] );
Tried to reinstall 1.10.11 following exactly the manual install instructions to no avail. On the fifth time, mistakenly deleted the data (200 events with details – grrrrr). But this did allow me to reinstall 1.10.9.
1.10.9 works really fast again – so something more than what is described in the release notes has happened in 1.10.11
In preparation for our coming 2.0 release this month we are pushing out our last 1.x version. This release is for Standard and Pro users and changes the way our updates happen. It will prevent the error we saw some months ago, where Pro users were given notice to update to a Lite version. It also adds to the stats collection function in Standard and provides us with the site admin’s email address.
I’ll be very cautious about upgrading to 2.0 until I’m sure it works.
