Can I delete 2.0 and install 2.2?

Even if you didn’t touch anything, it is suggested to delete the files:

I deleted most 2.0 through my server/host, (and can recover anything for a week from my trash can.)

Here is what I have now:
wp-content
index.php
post_install.htm
wp-config-sample.php
wp-config.php
wp-login.php
wp-register.php.

Remember, my blog is completely empty so far, I just want to upgrade what my host gave me (in 2 seconds, but this is taking me much longer…)
Should I delete more? I hope the upgrade will know to go to my wordpress folder…

Also delete wp-login.php and wp-register.php.
