11th and 12th post pushed to "older posts" page

    I am trying to complete 12 “boxes” of posts on my front page, but the 11th and 12th posts keep getting pushed to “older entries,” leaving just blank white spots where the grid should be filled out on the front page. I have tried everything and cannot figure out what to do. I have tried making all of my 12 posts “sticky” but that doesn’t seem to help. In addition, one of the posts is repeated and I can’t get rid of it. It is one of the ones showing up on the “older entries” page. I feel like I am going crazy!

  • what is your setting under:
    dashboard – settings – reading – Blog pages show at most [ ] posts

    ah, that fixed it. It was only set to 10. Didn’t know to check there. Thank you so much!!!!! No more banging my head on the table!!!!!
