13, Amount Invalid and sandbox testing

G’day slamslogic,

Which integration are you using? e.g. WooCommerce, WP eCommerce, Events Manager, AWPCP. Also, are you using the eWAY Payment Gateway by WebAware? (me)

The test (sandbox) gateway will return error codes for values with cents, so when in test mode this plugin lifts the value to the next dollar value. My other integration plugin for Gravity Forms and eWAY does that too but has an option to pass through the exact amount to allow testing the error codes — are you using the Gravity Forms plugin, or this one?

The test card number 4444 3333 2222 1111 will only work on the test gateway. If you are getting an error “Card is invalid”, you might be trying to use it on the live gateway.

Thanks for your response,
I am using WooCommerce, WebAware eWay Payment Gateway.
The price for products are in points i.e. $99.95, $140.45. I think due to this it is creating error (13, Amount invalid).
I’ll really appreciate if you help me regarding this.

Ross, I have changed the prices to absolute value like $99.95 to $99.00 but still I am facing the same error i.e. 13, Invalid Amount.

I’ve added some basic logging for WooCommerce transactions, so please install this version and enable logging (in WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > eWAY):

After running a couple of transactions, please post the woocommerce.log file from the log folder to my support email address.

If the plugin is set to use test mode, it should be raising the amount to the next dollar amount. The log file will tell me if it’s doing that or not.
