1.8.8 Database Update

    Upgraded to 1.8.8 last night and started the data update right afterwards. 13 or so hours later I’m still getting prompts to run the data update. On the updates page it never goes past this line.

    Loading… JavaScript Loaded. Starting updates.

    I’ve had new subscriptions go through since then so the system is working. How do I know if the update worked and if anything remove the annoyingly large alert box?

  • what data update did you do.
    When you upgrade PMPro it just updates the files in the plugin..

    I just tried it and got no data update prompt??

    @pete after updating the 1.8.8 update that was released yesterday, there’s a prompt on my dashboard for a PMPro database update. The link is also in the menu pointing to wp-admin/admin.php?page=pmpro-updates

    I suspect a JavaScript error that is keeping the update from actually running. Or could be a bug in our code conflicting on your specific setup. Can you email us at [email protected] so can get info to log into your system and test it?

    @jason Somehow after 20 hours of letting the browser tab sit there, the update completed. All looks to be working well.
