• I installed the WordPress for iPhone this morning, and successfully added my first blog, which is running 2.5.1 in a “blog” directory on my server. When I try to add a second blog running first 2.5.1, but then i upgraded to 2.6, but using a “wp” directory for the installation, I get an error “Operation could not be completed. (NSXMLParserErrorDomanin error 64.)”

They are both running on the same dreamhost server, so I don’t get what gives…

    Any thoughts?

  • I have the same problem running 2.5.1. When trying to set up the app I get this error:

    Communications Error
Operation could not be completed (NSXMLParserErrorDomain error 64)

    I am also on dreamhost.

I’m also getting error 64 trying to set up even my first blog. Also Dreamhost. Also 2.6.

This app is really exciting. Help!

Okay, I figured it out!! (my issue at least)
I turned off all my plugins and I was able to add my blog settings into the app and was able to post. For me the offending plugin was the AMM – Amazon Media Management Extension (ver1.5).

So you might want to try and disable your plugins and see if that fixes the issue. You can add plugins one at a time and check which one is causing the error. The error will come back if you try and access your blog through the iphone.

I was getting error 64 and a few others (error 9 i think). I was able to get it working by removing all of my plugins. When I re-dded the ‘Customizable Permalinks 1.0’ plugin I started getting the error 64 again. That seems to be a problem plugin.

But! Without that plugin my individual posts aren’t being found when I look at my site normally.

Maybe I could redo the permalinks on each of my posts. I’d rather wait and see if the update fixes these issues.

    Customizable Permalinks 1.0

Deactivating this plugin allowed WordPress v1.1 to work for me.
