    Hi @quadlayers,
Just to notify you that your new 2.0.1 version (I was using 1.1.2) simply doesn’t work. The redirection to the checkout page doesn’t work since the update and Woocommerce worked as if the Direct checkout plugin wasn’t installed at all (which break my site).
Furtunately I had the previous version, so I rolled back to 1.1.2 before to begin to lose sales.
I recommend you to beta test more your new version, especially if you are the new owner of the plugin.

@djinnie I’m afraid your theme is incompatible with our plugin because the theme is changing the default Woocommerce button behavior

@quadlayers I have this theme: https://themeforest.net/item/x-the-theme/5871901. One of the most popular themes there on themeforest.

One thing I should mention; I have created a normal WordPress page and I have created a manual button on that page on via that button I’m linking to the checkout page. I guess this is the problem. I’m using this URL: https://www.puppygroep.nl/?add-to-cart=8565.

See this page where you see this button: https://www.puppygroep.nl/puppy-boeken/.

Most cases it does work. I do get lots of orders through that button.

But sometimes it does not work. Just a sec ago I received a phonecall of a customer who was trying to place an order but it didn’t work. She got redirected to the homepage.

Any ideas to fix this problem? (I don’t want to use the standard Woocommerce product pages.)

    Thanks

this issue is related to your theme

https://yoursite.com/?add-to-cart=xx should work with or without woocommerce direct checkout activated

you should contact your theme developers

@quadlayers I have found the problem and it has nothing to do with the theme (I think). It is because I have activated product-sold-individually in woocommerce. See this image: https://ibb.co/wRNJkDN.

When one is in the same tab of his webbrowser and clicks on the button add to cart it just works. It goes straight to the checkout page as it should. But when they want to order that product again for some reason in the same tab (maybe the go back and want to know a little bit more information about the product) it goes straight to the homepage and it does not work. It does not say any error like: you cannot order this product twice or whatever … It just goes to the homepage including the /?add-to-cart=xx behind the url.

Can you fix this? Because I have a product (a free book + shipping offer) and I do not want people to order this product twice in 1 order.

    hello @djinnie

ill move this to the dev team

thanks for the detailed report of this issue

I still get emails from people they cannot order because of this error …

    Is there a fix already?

    Thanks.

hello all issues of version 2.0.1 have been fixed on the latest update

please update and letme know if the issues persists

    kind regards

The issue is still here and I have the latest version of the plugin. Customers still keep bugging me with this problem.

If you go to this URL: https://puppygroep.nl/gratis-boek and press the green button. You then will land on the checkout page. If you go back to https://puppygroep.nl/gratis-boek and press the green button again. You’ll see that you will be redirect to the homepage with this url: https://www.puppygroep.nl/?add-to-cart=13222.

Any update around this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you!

One month ago I asked for an update because it still does not work. No response what so ever … ? Does anyone know if there’s still a active team/developer behind this plugin? Anyone know some alternatives to this plugin? (I have updated to the latest version.)
