Plugin updated automatically overnight and took my site down ‘not authorised’ is all I get including trying to access WP admin.

FTP’d in and deactivated the plugin now site fine.

    Just to highlight for others.

    My apologies tjgorman!

Are you sure the problem is caused by the plugin? Even by WordPress?

I scanned the plugin source code, it contains no message ‘not authorised’. I also scanned the WordPress source code, which contains no message ‘not authorised’ as well. Both write authoriZed, never authoriSed.

Could it be a web server issue? If you have any further information I’m glad to hear!

    Best regards,
    Peter

Am certain it’s the plugin – the plugin update matches the time the site went down, and disabling the plugin via FTP resolves the issue/re-enabling recreates the issue.

I’m afraid I caused some confusion with the error message I posted – I anglicised by mistake (or at least Safari spell check did!)…it was indeed: Error: not authorized.

    Hi tjgorman,

Thanks for the clarification! That error sounds more familiar. I patched version 2.0.10 right away. Hope this solves the problem.

If you’re still interested in using the plugin you need to remove it first and then do fresh install.

    Best regards,
    Peter

Peter really sorry for the delay – forgot to respond to say thank you for the incredibly rapid resolution. 2.0.11 works a treat now.

    Thanks again,

    Tom
