I have not been able to resolve the following errors. And I see no place to enter the extension license key. This upgrade has been a bit rocky. Please help.

The Ultimate Member – Profile Completeness extension requires the Ultimate Member plugin to be activated to work properly. You can download it here

Ultimate Member 2.0.4 requires 2.0 extensions. You have pre 2.0 extensions installed on your site. Please update Ultimate Member extensions to latest versions. For more info see this doc.

  • Deactivate all of the UM extensions, and then run the UM 2.0 upgrade. It should run after that. You may have to manually install the 2.0 extensions. Can’t remember where they are located.

    Thanks @tekfused.

Okay, I figured this out, but not without a lot of frustration.

Step 1. – Upgrade to 2.0.4. Ignore error codes that might show in WordPress. They are confusing.

Step 2 – If you have an extension, you cannot simple click on the update button in WordPress. First, delete (not just deactivate) the extension from your plugins list in WordPress.

Step 3 – Then log into your account at https://ultimatememberdemo.com/login/

Step 4 – Go to Downloads. The newest version will be there even though the version number is not shown. Download to desktop. Keep ultimatemember.com open.

Step 4 – Upload the plugin manually to WordPress.

Step 5 – Go back to your account at https://ultimatememberdemo.com and click on Settings -> License Keys -> Manage Sites. You now have to re-activate your license key.

Step 6 – Refresh your WordPress website, then check to make sure your user roles in Ultimate Member on WordPress are correct and also that your extension settings carried over.

I did all these steps and it works for me now.
