Hi @vanitacyril
Thank you for your reports here. Can you provide the exact messaging for the “Failed opening required” warning so that we know exactly what part is not being found? This is the first we’re hearing about this specific issue with the 2.0.x upgrade, and we can hopefully get things taken care of in subsequent updates.
it’s live at the link i sent. here it is again:

That is definitely helpful information @vanitacyril
In the meantime, if you need to downgrade back to a 1.14.1 version of the plugin, you can do so with https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/constant-contact-forms.1.14.1.zip
it’s a staging site, i still have 1.14.1 on the production site. what’s the timeline like for a fix? need to let my client know. thanks!
Only thing I can say with certainty is “as soon as possible”
We have pushed out an update at version 2.0.2 which should help take care of some details about the overall process. We also adjust some rate limit issues for the API that the plugin uses, and that should also be helping to resolve experienced issues.
By all means please test on the staging site first to help confirm things are working better now. Thanks
Hi team, thank you for your support I have the same issue here with:
WordPress 6.2.2
Plugin Version 2.0.2

@ahmedabdou The last two part aren’t related to our plugin, but the first two definitely are. We’re still trying to track that issue down overall, but have not succeeded quite yet.
There’s a similar thread over at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fatal-error-4464/ with the same issue as well
So far 2.0.2 seems ok.
any specific tests suggested?
sorry. i spoke too soon. it was ok on the backend. but the front end is the white screen with the following code.

Noted on that issue still being present for you too. We haven’t managed to recreate that one yet, but are trying and working with some other users to try to recreate
Just tested even installing version 1.14.0, doing some connection routines, and updating, and no issue like the errors outlined above yet.
We’re not giving up overall.
@vanitacyril Can you give a copy of the plugin found at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fatal-error-4464/#post-16813315 a try to see if that clears up the issues you’re seeing yourself?
@ahmedabdou we would love for you to try as well, all the extra checks help.
Would love to get some confirmation in place so that we can release to the larger public.
@constantcontact, it’s working fine on my side.
could I use it on the production site? or you still develop it?
