    * The Plugin “Uncanny LearnDash Toolkit” needs an upgrade (2.1 -> 2.2).

Has caused most shortcodes to fail.

    Example:
    [ld_course_list order=”ASC” ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”]

Now there are blank pages. ??
    Please advise.

    Thanks.

We haven’t had any other reports of this, but thanks for bringing it to our attention. In this example your shortcode itself is incorrect; you have ld_course_list twice in it. We have tried [ld_course_list] locally with Toolkit 2.2 and it’s fine.

You should try disabling the Toolkit temporary to see if the problem persists. If it’s still there with the Toolkit deactivated, it wouldn’t be related to the Toolkit.

    But I don’t want [ld_course_list]

    This code was perfect before.
    [ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”]

If things have changed or this code needs correcting, please let me know.
Customers seeing just what they paid for and progress in that grid view is awesome.

    Appreciated.

Can you confirm what happened when you disabled our plugin to test? Did it fix the issue?

To confirm, I wasn’t saying you needed to drop attributes, just that you listed ld_course_list twice inside the same shortcode.

    Hi,

Why would I disable the tool kit when I need it for the shortcodes?
Disabling the tool kit stops the shortcodes.

    This code doesn’t display anymore.
    [ld_course_list ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”]

If I’m doing it wrong I appreciate some help in this.
    Very much appreciated.

That shortcode isn’t ours; it’s LearnDash. So by disabling our Toolkit temporarily you can assess whether it’s our plugin or something else at play. If it suddenly works, maybe there’s a conflict with our Toolkit. If it doesn’t work, now you know it’s not the Toolkit. You can turn it right back on after you test.

Our Toolkit does not modify this or other LearnDash shortcodes. Our 2.2 update has now been deployed on about 1,500 LearnDash sites and no-one else has reported new issues with shortcodes.

I am still not sure why you’re using [ld_course_list ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”] instead of [ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”]; why are you adding the second instance?

    (@onefinaleffort)

    OK. I disabled the toolkit.
    Nothing happened.

    [ld_profile ] works fine.
    [ld_course_list mycourses=”true” progress_bar=”true”] does not.

So this is a Learndash problem. ??

    (@uncannyowl)

Correct. Maybe you updated to LD 2.5.x as well and that’s what did it.

    Thread Starter onefinaleffort

    (@onefinaleffort)

I did. I’ll revert to the old version untill support can work why that happened.
Should I had not upgraded to 2.5?

Thank you for being polite and being there.

Well, we did send our plugin customers a note about holding off on updating for now–but we have no way to contact users of the free plugin. I would just reach out to LearnDash support to see if they can help with a resolution for their shortcode.

    Ok thanks for the update.
Do you update via a blog or Twitter that we can subscribe to for said alerts?

I’ve already made a ticket with Learndash and will be downgrading until further notice.
    Thank you ??
