I have a handheld menu with some top-level menu items that have sub-menu items. When I upgrade to v. 2.3.0 of Storefront, the sub-menu items are not expanded when the menu is opened on mobile devices, and are not accessible. When I revert to v. 2.2.8 of Storefront, the menus function normally.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    1. Create a menu in Appearance -> Menus that includes top-level menu items with one or more secondary items.
    2. Assign the menu to the “handheld” position.
    3. Click the Menu button to view the menu on a mobile device, or in Responsive Design Mode in Firefox

You’ll see that the secondary menu items are not accessible.

I think I figured this out. With v. 2.3.0, there is a little icon called the “dropdown-toggle” for each top-level menu item in mobile. The menus aren’t expanded by default like they were in v. 2.2.8. On the affected sites, the dropdown-toggle is not visible because of the color settings. I had to change the Appearance -> Customize -> Buttons -> Text Color to a different color and publish the changes to have the dropdown-toggle show. After that, I could change the Text Color back to what it was and the dropdown-toggles showed up.

Similar issues were corrected in 2.3.1. Upgrade to Storefront 2.3.1 and check it out again.
