2.5.5 broke WP visual editor

I just wanted to confirm that I’m having the same problem. When the plugin is activated I can no longer edit my pages. The visual editor just becomes a white box.

I’m using a fresh WordPress install with the 2017 theme and WP Visual Editor is the only plugin installed on the site.

The JavaScript console says there’s an error because wpuf_assets_url is not defined; that seems to be the cause of the problem.

And we as well using this see the same error on the visual editor and have disabled for now.

Visual editor is broke after last update. I’m looking for alternative plugin. Please, fix it! Just only disable that plugin and I can edit pages and posts with it. Same here.

We have fixed this issue, but the fix is not included in the release version yet. Please download & install the development version of WP User Frontend plugin on your site. You will get the issue fixed.

Sorry for that trouble, the latest version fixes it.

I have a similar problem. I use DIVI Visual Editor. Each time I try to edit the current page I am sent to de WPUF edit post page, not to WordPress edit.

What I have done to temporarly solve this problem is to go to WP-dashboard–>Pages–>All Pages and from there I click on the page I want to edit, that way the page editor opens correctly.

Please navigate to wp-admin > User Frontend > Settings > General Options, now select No for Override the post edit link option and try to edit page again. I hope it will solve your problem.
