    This message in the link below when I am using a payment gateway restriction for a coupon.

    You can recreate it if you go to my site nutrabay.com

    1)add any product to cart
    2)Go to checkout
    3)Add coupon “hi5” (which restricts to only razorpay payment method)
    3)Click on cash on delivery as the payment option and place order
    4)It will show the error message as shown in the link shared above

    It would be really helpful if I can customise the message and tell the customers to use “Credit Card/Debit Card/NetBanking/Wallet” in order to use the coupon.

    One more thing

    5) now after step 4, click on “Credit Card/Debit Card/NetBanking/Wallet” payment method and add coupon “hi5” again. Now you will see an error message saying “The coupon is not valid for the currently selected payment method.” which it should not as “Credit Card/Debit Card/NetBanking/Wallet” is the allowed payment method for the coupon.

    6) now, keeping “Credit Card/Debit Card/NetBanking/Wallet” selected, refresh your browser, and after refreshing, add the coupon again, and now it will work.

    the the problem here is it updates the payment method only after a browser refresh and not instantly.

    Hi,

    About the custom message: yes I might add that in a next release. In PRO you have this posibility though, when using the ‘Allow applying when invalid’-option.

    About the checkout-page, please add class update_totals_on_change to <div id=”order_review”>

    Did you disable the YITH plugin and see if that works better on the checkout page?

    If you still have issues, please reply in the thread in the support section… not the review section.

    Yes that YITH plugin is disabled now.

    How do i do this? I know nothing more than copy paste when it comes to code, sorry..
