2 bugs in “Dropdown” + “Change Options Depending on A Condition”

    Hi
    Received 2 problems in the work field (Dropdown) when using the conditions “Change Options Depending on A Condition”:
    1) does not display the value marked as “default” in the additional list when activating the condition;
    2) If in the field with this type of conditions make a choice and then it is the “hide” field (for example with the “switch” button and “Show/Hide Field Depending on Condition”) and again “show” – this choice disappears.

    Hello!

    1.- This will be fixed in the next release

    2.- This is actually the expected behavior. If the options of a dropdown are changed by a field and this field is hidden then the dropdown will revert back to its original options and any previously selected values will be cleared (because the options changed). If this field is shown again then the dropdown will show again the new options but since the previously selected options were already cleared it won’t show them as selected again and need to be selected by the user one more time.

    Hello!

    Just lot let you know, i think this could be fixed if the plugin record the latest values that were selected before changing the options and then automatically set the previously selected values when the options are changed again. I will see if this works and if so will also add it in the next release.

    Hello!

    In the message I gave a link to the test page. There are forms with HTML – a field that displays the selected values. It can be clearly visible when changing the status of the “switch” button. I hope it will help.

    Very good.

    All links between dependent fields of the “Dropdown” type work.

    But one more small correction is needed.

    Selected Dropdown field values that have “Change Options Depending On a Condition” logic applied disappear from the HTML field when the “Switch” is set to “Off”. Other selected dropdown field values (where no such logic applies) or numeric values that are also displayed in the HTML field do not disappear.

    Is it possible to make all fields react the same way to the position of the “Switch” and remain available for display in the HTML field?

    Err sorry i am not sure what you mean and your site shows a “Suspended” message so i couldn’t check the form.

    Have in mind though that if a field is hidden it is considered not filled so it is not possible to show its value, if a field that is hidden by conditional logic is showing a value (not sure if in your example this is happening) that is a bug and will be corrected.
