• I don’t know if this is available or not. I’ll describe my goal.

Have a blog with a pro / con theme.

People on the pro-side would enter their comments and they would appear in the left column.

People on the co-side would have their entries appear in the right hand column.

Any help is most appreciated. If WordPress can not provide this, does anybody know of such a template??

  • It’s confusing: in one sentence you mention “comments” in the next one “entries” – they are totally different things. So, let’s just clarify first what are you talking about.

Sorry – They would be the “comments” of visitors. It will actually be a political story of the day and I will ask those in favor of a position to “enter your comments here” and those opposed to “enter your comments here.” Their comments would then appear in two separate side-by-side columns.

I am not too “savy” on what the difference between “comments” and “entries” are – I hope I didn’t just heighten the confusion. Thank you for you rapid attention to this!!!

Well, you better get familiar with the tool you are using or want to use. Otherwise we cannot have a meaningful dialog.

As for your question: unless you are a “savy” PHP coder to modify WP core files – it will not happen. Comments come in chronological order with an incremental ID#, and I don’t know of any method that would/could separate them.

Ok – moshu. I think WordPress is not for me.

My son is a coder and I’ll see what he can do. I thought maybe I read where there might be a codex that would work.

    Sorry for being so ignorant.
