I’ve set up two different free shipping methods. The first one I set the rules to match a specific category and country US. That free shipping method works like a charm. The second is for minimum orders of $300.00 so I set the rules to match subtotal greater than or equal to 300.00 and country equal to United States. The second free shipping method is not working. What do I need to do?

    Hi,

Strange thing that the second one isn’t working..

    – It could be the shipping cache; https://jeroensormani.com/shipping-debug-mode

Is the shipping rate never showing up, or only not when the first shipping rate is showing?

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

Thank you for your reply! I really wish this was the problem. I have got to get this figured out! I tried the shipping debug mode and it still isn’t working. I’ve tried different browsers anyway and no it’s not just happening when the first shipping rate is showing.

Try for yourself. Go to this product https://ghdecoys.com/product/d-turk-hen-deceiver/ and add 3 to the cart. That brings you over $300 so the shipping should say free shipping but it doesn’t. It allows you to calculate the shipping (fedex).

Then go to this product https://ghdecoys.com/product/navigator-bluebill-drake/ and add just one. This whole category is free shipping. I have shipping costs separate out for this reason so you will see shipping #1 for the first items and shipping #2 for the second will show up as free shipping.

Sorry about the obnoxious videos playing loudly! It’s what they wanted ??

I’m still in shipping debug mode.

Here are screen shots of how I have the shipping methods set up:

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!! WOOHOO! It is the Multiple Packages for WooCommerce plugin settings. I changed it to include the advanced free shipping options for both shipping methods and it’s now working fine. OMG I totally forgot I had that set up to separate out shipping methods until I replied above. When I looked at those settings it wasn’t including advanced free shipping for the one class. UGH! Thanks for taking the time to respond!!!

Well I thought I had this figured out. Now if one item meets the free shipping conditions, they all do. I cannot figure out why.

I have two separate shipping classes set up first of all. Class 1 (FedEx shipping) and Free Shipping. All products are set to either one of these two shipping options.

Then I have AFS conditions set up like this:

Contains class equal to Free Shipping and Country equal to United States

    OR

Subtotal greater than or equal to 300.00 and Country equal to United States

I had those two set up as completely separate Advanced Free Shipping options but I get the same results either way. HELP!

As a reminder, I have Multiple Packages for Shipping plugin which separates out shipping by class.

Well I figured out it’s not this plugin causing the problem. It’s the Multiple Packages for Shipping plugin.
