im trying to design a website selling Hair and Beauty products for a friend. Shes selling Hair weave. Her clients should also have the ability to also purchase sections of said hair dyed.

For example: they would select the hair length they want with one price (eg. $100)
and they would have the option to select on same hair to dye certain sections (eg. $35.00)

Ive added the details to the variations and set the prices but my site only charges for one price. Years I used an app to do that but its since been shut down.

Am I missing something thats causing this to not add both prices?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You need to create attributes for all weaves. So “length” is one attribute. Color another and so on. Get all your attributes planned out for each weave so you can plan accordingly. I suggest creating a spreadsheet to use your time wisely.

Let’s say you have a weave called Betty create Betty sizes, Betty dye or color. Create tHe Betty weave product then scroll down make product a variable product then add all attributes for that weave. Sizes and Color. From there you’ll be able to add the variations, ie size 5”, 10”, 16” and colors. Then appoint a separate price on each varIation is. 5” = $12, 10” = $20 and so on.

This might also come in handy.

I did create the attributes as mentioned but the prices I added never show up when thet are selected, just the intial price.

This link shows are 2 different screen shots i blanded to show this https://qtbeautyproducts.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/test-img.png

The prices won’t show up for some attributes. In the main price point anyway. It’ll total up as they select one attribute and then the other. When you have different size and costs you’ll see like $50-100 in the total.

Create a spreadsheet depending on all her requirements for each weave. From there you can make your life less hectic. Read that url I sent you. It’ll help you plan out the appropriate course to take for each product.

Yes spread sheet for sure!! Ya it didnt for me?? ultimately i created a separate new product but she feels like customers will miss that step in the process. And any of the products that I have previously created they no longer have all of the attributes attached to show you. Thats why i came here to ask. The site showed the products when selected and some of the products even allowed you to add the specific colors but the price never changed. At first I thought I needed a plug-in after searching (dynamic pricing) but it’s since been discontinued so I keep searching for a workaround to attach two prices to one product. I did the detailed work to add the attributes and variations however it did add those to the product when selected but neither and none of which showed up the additional of prices ?? Finally deleted and attempted a new product. (Sorry just seeing your response, these all nighters have caught up with me??).

Got it. Well, you could use

    Product Bundles
    WC Product Add Ons

And possibly YITH Product Add On
