2 different themes on 1 wordpress site

I have had a custom theme built for my website and now I have decided to add a blog.

I would like to know if its possible to install another basic blog theme for this part of the site but still keep the header section the same as the rest of the site?? If so, are there any good tutorials that I can follow?
