    Hello,

this can be done by entering the text for every product alone. You need to go into product editor

Products -> Price Per Unit -> Recalculated Price additional text.

What you write over there will be visible just on that particular product page.

    Hope this helps
    regards Martin

Ok, I see the problem now. In the general(or in the single product editor) you need to turn on the recalculation.
It’s the option called “Shop page price behaviour” you have it currently set to “do not show recalculated price” which is default now. You need to set desired behaviour there (replace the price or make another row).
The same goes for single product page.

First idea was that you should decide if you want it globally on or just with particular products and turn it on. Now I think that I’ll turn it on globally by default and let people turn it off if they need.

    Hello,
I followed what you suggested to turn on recalculation. but still i don’t see the Units value beside price.

i’m not sure what is going wrong here. Unit value is not showing at all after price. Please do help me with this.

Surely i want to use this unit value to show on all the products. As i said in my first message i have 2 types of products 1. liquid products for this i want to use /Ltr 2. powder products for this i want to use /Kg.

    Thanks!

Ok, do you have weight set on the product? This plugin calculates the price depending on it’s wieght. If there is none entered it doesn’t calculate at all and the appendix is not shown.

Regarding your screenshots – you don’t need the settings in general and product editor

My suggestion – set on general settings page that you want recalculated price shown on product page or shop page and in product editor just set recalculated price additional text to whatever you desire with that particular product.

all the products are simple products not variable products. Do i still need to add weight attribute for all the products??

    Plugin Author Martin Mechura

    (@mechuram)

Yes, this plugin simply calculates price/weight so if there is no weight it simply doesn’t calculate.

In this case what attributes do i need to create? can you give suggestions please
https://ibb.co/cFrEWk how many attributes do i have to make ?

No attributes needed. You need to enter the weight in product editor on tab Shipping, there is weight which is used by woocommerce for shipping purposes.

This plugin normally works like this:
You have a product which weights 4 kg and costs $20, you enter it into product editor and when you set my plugin(when set to add new row) it shows you that beside the product costs $20 the price is also $5/Kg.

It seems to me that you want to use it differently? Just for the display of text?

If you need this then you should just set the weight of all your products to 1kg and then it will work. Although it’s a workaround to get what you want.

If you need to set the weight for more products Woocommerce now has a nice feature:
In backend on products list you check all products you want to change and at the top left is “Bulk actions”, you pick Edit and you can change some properties of products all at once.

Thanks a lot for the help. Now i understand how your plugin works. In my case i just wanted to show the Unit text /Kg or /Ltr beside price. So i used weight 1 for all the products and it works for me what i wanted.

A last question: is it possible to show unit value in cart page as well? https://ibb.co/ddR9XQ in this screenshot you see under price its not showing unit value /kg.

In shop page : https://www.lovelygardenfoods.com/shop/ it showing
In single product page: https://www.lovelygardenfoods.com/product/basil-paper/ it showing.

    Thanks!

I’m sorry this plugin doesn’t display recalculation in cart. Maybe in future. But You’re second who asks for this so maybe… ??
