2-factor auth: “Please match the requested format” if copy&paste code from email

  • If you enable 2-factor authentication via email, you can’t copy & paste the code because it won’t work. Interestingly, there aren’t any extra spaces or other obvious issues.

    If you manually type in the code, it works beautifully.

    [UPDATE] I couldn’t reproduce the problem again.
