2 Home Pages in JetPack Stats

I believe one of these pages is your home page, while the other one is another page that is named “Home Template”. You should be able to find it under Pages > All Pages in your dashboard.

Thanks for the reply, but the issue is that traffic is being routed to 2 homepages or at least tracked that way.

Recap:

JetPack is tracking 2 home pages

– Home page / Archives (index.php)
– Home Template (home-template.php)

Both are linked to the root.

“Home Template” is the active homepage in the reading settings.

Why exactly is WordPress doing this in JetPack for 2 different? Thanks.

Same here Jeremy was just contacting my theme guy about the issue but looks to be jetpack related.

This is an intentional change. Date and category archive listings are actually counted the same as the Home Page when the home page is set to display posts.

Therefore, what you originally saw for your Home Page total was a collection of Home Page views and Archive views, which is why we changed the title to the much more accurate “Home Page / Archives”.

But makes no sense since the archives or blog/latest news is separate.
