I just installed your plugin. It’s going through the complete scan and right now it’s at 0% after 111 minutes. 0 folders with 680 folders to go. It’s scanned 124 files so far. I don’t think it should be taking this long.

I’ve been having a problem with my site the past few days with pages taking a long time to load. First it was the backend, now it’s the backend and the public site. Maybe this is affecting the scan? Also did a securi check today and it showed the site had malware. That’s why I installed your plugin.

At least try deactivating “All-in-One-Buttons” to see that fixes anything, but if it doesn’t do what you want then you may as well delete it too.

Please let me know it that fixes either of your problems.

It seems that the problem is with Chrome as it is working OK in Firefox, although I can’t believe that it is as simple as that after all this trouble. I use both browsers and keep both up-to-date, so what is it with Chrome – should I uninstall and re-install the program?

The scan is currently 45% complete running in Firefox. I’ll have a look at the other problem when the scan is complete. No malware found yet but some threats.

The Potential threats (in Yellow) are usually not malicious and you don’t have to do anything with those. If there are any Known Threats (in Red) my plugin can fix them for you automatically.

I’m not sure why Chome is behaving like that for you, it works fine for me in Chome. I would still try removing that new All-in-One-Buttons plugin to see if that make a difference. But I’m glad that it is at least working for you in Firefox.

Many thanks for all your help and I hope I haven’t wasted your time. This is the screenshot of the completed scan in Firefox.
This is the read/write error file

The media library seems to work fine in Firefox, so the problem is obviously with my version of Chrome, which I am currently using for this webpage.

    Thanks again for your help.

Perhaps I spoke too soon as the library is taking a long time to load after the first batch of images

Deactivating and deleting the All-in-One-Buttons seems to have done the trick in Firefox. I will see if it has the same effect in Chrome.

No there still seems to be a problem in Chrome, or my version of it.

So, it sounds like everything is working in Firefox ??

    Those scan results look fine.

As for Chrome, I don’t know, it could be some extension or just a bad or buggy install.
