2 image columns on mobile and Arrow and X button

    Using Latest WP version

    I luuv this plugin so much, keep up the great work! – Thank you…but I have 3 quick questions

    Qu1) Can you please advise how I can achieve 2 columns of thumbs on a smart phone… Its only displaying one column. It looks funny as there is more space on the right hand side and being responsive, well I thought it would show at least 2?

    Qu 2) Can you please tell me how I can have the Next ARROW & play button showing after a larger image pops up in the light box so you can arrow or auto play across to the next image without having to keep going back to the thumbnails. I am currently using Shutter. Nearly all Light boxes have this option but cant seem to find the setting on yours!

    3) There is also NO [X] to close the image for the Shutter Larger popup light box image. You can click on the image and yes it will close but for the dummies out there having an [X] would be more appropriate?

    @unplugged_69 – The “mobile” view number of columns will be dependent on the thumbnail sizes you are using.

    We bundle the Lightbox libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience, if you wish to modify those libraries we do not offer support for that. You are also welcome to use out Lightbox libraries that may suit your needs better as well.

    1)Can you please advise what is the largest thumbnail size (width)size I can use and still display 2 columns in smart phones?

    2&3) so am I understanding correctly that you do not provide any options for the SHUTTER light box that displays an auto play button and an ‘X’ to close the larger pop up image?

    … and if not, could YOU or any of your skilled readers provide a code that I could put into the Style CSS Customisation Options to display an ‘X’ Close and an auto play button. (so when I update the code wont be lost)

    @unplugged_69 – You will have to choose which mobile devices (read: viewport size) you want to support to display two columns … consider values as low as 120px width (depending on your theme and/or any other influencing CSS definitions). Also keep in mind you can also use media queries to adapt as needed in your custom CSS.

    As to the Shutter Lightbox library, that is correct, we just provide it as a convenience. We do not offer direct support for any of the Lightbox libraries bundled with NextGEN Gallery; again, they are just provided as a convenience.
