    Hello,

When I send out my blog update email using a Mailchimp campaign, I see 2 images in the email text. One image I can click to go to the post, the other one is a little smaller underneath without a hyperlink. Could someone help me through this?

I’ve read on prior forums regarding a raw feed, I’m not sure how to provide that?

    Thanks

Our image is the clickable one most likely, and the other image is probably from another plugin or your theme, adding a small thumbnail image.

You would need to find and disable the addition of the small thumbnail, by looking at the options of other RSS-related plugins like Feezy (uncheck the add image to feed option), or in your theme, look for RSS related settings.

(Oh and regarding your raw feed, it’s just your website with /feed/ added, so https://domain.com/feed/ usually).

Hi @pursuitofyappiness your next steps would be to look for other plugins or theme option related to RSS as I mentioned.

One plugin that is very popular that causes this problem is Feedzy. Check that plugin’s options, and be sure to uncheck the add images to RSS option, and save.

To troubleshoot further, it’s best to deactivate all other plugins, and see if that removes the double image in Mailchimp preview. (This can be done on a staging server if your host provides one, so your main site is not affected.) If so, activate each plugin until the other image appears, and that’s the plugin that is also adding medium sized images to your feed. Then reactivate your other plugins. Check all theme options if no plugins are found responsible.

If you’d like to troubleshoot this more here, you could paste in a list of your plugins page, we can see which plugins to try deactivating, and see if that helps.
