• Hi.

I have an issue where -2 keep popping up in my permalink for my FAQs page even though there isn’t another page with the same permalink. Whenever I remove -2, it keep returning.

I tried visiting the link without the -2 to see if there’s a page with the same url but I’m directed to my homepage. See here in the following two links:

    /frequently-asked-questions
    /frequently-asked-questions-2/

I’d really appreciate assistance. Thank you.

Could it be that this was an existing PAGE that you customized and set as your “static homepage” (but didn’t change the slug)?

Please check the slug of the PAGE you’ve set as your static homepage, and let me know what slug you find.

    UPDATE:

To find the slug, go to PAGES, look for the page you’ve configured as your Static Homepage, and click on “Quick Edit”. The slug should be right under the title.

Thank you for getting back to me. I checked the slug for my static homepage and it is displayed as ‘home’. I checked all my other pages and none of them have ‘frequently asked questions’ as the slug. There aren’t any pages in the bin either.

    Waiting for further instructions.
