2 letters search is not possible

  • We have read doocumentation. We have setup Relevanssi to support 2 letters search, we re-indexed, we’ve cleared cache, we’ve tried incognito. We are not newbies to WP and web development. But no matter what we are trying to do, its not working. Relevanssi will only work with 3 letters search. But we really need 2 letters search, so clients can serach hot topics such as AI, and similar.

    Can you please enable the Relevanssi debugging mode on the site? You can find it in Settings > Relevanssi > Debugging.

    Two-letter searches should be a piece of cake –?just change the minimum word length to 2, reindex and off you go. Does the Relevanssi admin search (Dashboard > Admin search) work any better?

    Now its working with searches for ai, but not for co even though there are several posts with a title like commerce…

    Debugging is enabled.

    “Co” is in the default stopword list. If you want it to find results – not sure how useful that is in the end – you need to remove it from the stopwords and rebuild the index.
