2 minutes interval between sending of email

  • Hai guys,

    There is an interval of 2 minutes between sending of emails. Can it be made to send at a shorter interval period ?

    For example, I am using advanced notification plugin which sends email to specific email on specific conditions. This email is sent immediately upon placement of order on checkout, but the default processing order email is only sent 2 minutes after. When I take a look at the activity tab, it’s placed in queue. This queue is roughly 2 minutes. Can it be made less than 2 minutes?

  • I’ve been experiencing this issue too, and would love to know how to reduce the time between the wp_mail call and emails actually being sent out. Is this due to the email sending action being triggered with the WP Cron?

    Optimally I’d like to be able to send the email immediately. I have registration emails which users are not receiving for long enough for them to complain about the email never getting delivered.
