When a PayPal Express order is put through a second Order is created with nothing in the cart and 0.00 as the total. Does not seem to effect the checkout flow for the customer just adds the redundant 0.00 order in the admin. Started occurring after the last update.

@hanneslf, I’m really sorry for delayed response, Before I start debugging on the issue can you please confirm if you have updated to our 1.4.6.2 release? Did that resolve the issue? Please check that and make sure to use the latest version and if the issue is still there let me know.

No Problem at all. Will be upgrading the plugin today so will eye on it. Thanks

Still seems to be occurring. The second order with 0.00 value is generated when the order is manually updated from Processing to Complete.

@hannelsf, This isn’t something we are seeing, and we aren’t getting any other reports of it, so there must be something unique about your site configuration causing this. Do you have any other plugins that would be triggering anything with orders for any reason?

OK – thanks. Will check it out.

Got to the bottom of this. Seems the second order with a total of 0.00 was created when the shipment tracking was scanned on the edit order page.

The “Reference Transaction” box/widget was above the “Shipment Tracking” widget – by moving the “Reference Transaction” widget to the bottom fixed this. This would only happen for PayPal Express orders.

    All working good now.

Thanks again for the great plugin.

Interesting. Glad you got that worked out! We’ll see if we can reproduce that and make any adjustments to keep that from happening.

If you have a moment to leave a review for the plugin that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were able to make an adjustment here that should fix this so it doesn’t matter how you have those placed. This will be included in the 1.4.6.3 update we’ll be releasing very soon.
