    Hi,

    I have 2 pre-sale questions.

    1) Are canonical links automatically added to original source when using “the full post import functionality”?

    2) Conflicting canonical url’s?

I use the Yoast plugin for SEO. Yoast automatically adds a self-referencing canonical url to each post.

When your plugin adds automatically a canonical url to the original post when using the “the full post import functionality”. Will there be 2 conflicting canonical url’s?

    Looking forward for your answer.

    Kind regards,
    Marty

    1. By default, a option provided for pointing canonical links to the original source is enabled when you install our premium Feed to Post add-on. This integrates with the Yoast SEO and All in One SEO Pack plugins.
    2. If you’re using Yoast SEO and All in One SEO Pack, there will be only one canonical link, depending on the option set with Feed to Post. For users who are running an SEO plugin that does not integrate with our plugins yet, please let us know. We’ll add an integration in an upcoming release.

In conclusion, you won’t have conflicting canonical links if you’re using Yoast SEO or All in One SEO Pack. Only the one you set with our plugins will be used.
