• I have 2 VM’s. one is actually a copy of the other with a new version of WordPress installed on it so the OS configuration is identical.

I’ve got bulk import working fantastically on one, but on the other it refuses to operate. I’ve got the exact same configuration on every tab, AND the login test works, retrieves my user account and everything.

    Bulk import fails telling me…
[ERROR] Error retrieving group members for group “domain users”.
[ERROR] Error retrieving group members for group “id:513”.

Then it even goes on to say that my user account, that it just found with no problem using the test login tool doesn’t exist

[INFO] User “[myaccount]” not found in Active Directory.

Literally every single thing about the machines are the same aside from the installation of WordPress which is new as I’m starting a different multisite for a different purpose.

Every single configuration for the ADImport plugin is the same, yet bulk import just refuses to work. I can’t think of where the kink in the hose is, any one have any ideas?

EDIT: I should note I’ve disabled IPTables & SELinux just to make sure it wasn’t one of those messing with the import.

Update: Finally figured it out myself posted here just in case anyone has a similar problem with bulk import not working.

Alright, after banging my head against the wall on this one for a few days I finally figured out that the Bulk Import User Password (That one normally leaves blank) MUST be filled in ONCE to get the bulk import working, otherwise it incorrectly tells you it can’t find groups.
