2 Shipping rates “small parts” & “Table Rate”

    Hi all,
    I am using two shipping methods within DE & AT
    1xSmall Parts & Big Parts ->(easy)
    Each product is declared with ist proper shipping method.
    For expensive Shipping to Switzerland, I am using Small Parts & Table Rate shipping, as the cost explodes with weight.
    The software now always only takes “small Parts” if customers order combined Big & Small Products, since I started with table Rate shipping. But obviously, it should take the highest shipping cost.
    Is table rate not working with a second shipping method?
    Do I need the Pro Version, so it shifts properly?

    It’s a tricky setup, I honestly don’t know what the best way to do it would be. You would probably have to set-up a single Table Rate and then configure it in a way that handles both Small Parts and/or Big Parts regardless of combination and have the main criteria be weight. That way depending on the total weight you can calculate the cost regardless of what the customers order.

    Indeed I have to figure out a solution. Try and error with the next orders and then iterate ?? (expensive)

    So, with 2 shipping classes in the system lets see how table rate will take it country specific.
    Small parts should stay small parts
    The rest should go Table rate..
    Now I will try to go by weight, even it is a tricky way. Small boxes of coffee are bigger than a heavy pump.
    Until now: The pump would go as cheap “Warenpost International” up to 1000 Gramm, whereas the bigger box with coffee and only 500 Gramms has to go as expensive “Paket international”, due to its size…
    I would buy Premium, if that would bring a solution..
    but, no premium, no customer support ??

    PRO doesn’t have anything extra to help in this case ?? I would have helped with free just as much but I just don’t have any smart ideas.
