Have had this for a while now, but just having time to look into it.

Been getting a message that Jetpack wants me to choose between 2 sites. One that was set up as an IP address before WP was up and running.

    <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Here are my 2 selections:</span>

    Move Jetpack data
Move all your settings, stats and subscribers to your other URL, wrcband97.org. 3.130.77.237 will be disconnected from Jetpack.
    3.130.77.237
    wrcband97.org

    Or:

Treat each site as independent sites
wrcband97.org settings, stats, and subscribers will start fresh. 3.130.77.237 will keep its data as is.
    3.130.77.237
    wrcband97.org

All I want to do is make sure the current wrcband97.org stays as it is and that the 3.130.77.237 just disappears and this Jetpack notice goes away.

What do I need to do to make that happen?

    Bob

I would guess that after 6 days of no replies that no one has any idea how to fix this or what to do about it?

    Hi there,

Thanks for your patience and for bearing with us; we’re working on a backlog of support requests at this time, and we generally answer in the order received.

To ensure your current site wrcband97.org remains as it is and to remove the IP address (3.130.77.237) from Jetpack, you should choose the option “Move Jetpack data.” This will move all your settings, stats, and subscribers from the IP address to your actual domain, and the IP address will be disconnected from Jetpack, which should resolve your issue. The IP address will no longer be associated with Jetpack, and the notice should disappear.

To avoid similar cases in the future, please refer to our Resolving Jetpack Connection Issues Caused by Dynamic Site?URLs guide.

I hope that the above points you in the right direction. Please let us know if you have further questions.
