Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, regarding the upcharge:
- When using Stripe with Event Tickets, there is a 2% commission fee collected in addition to Stripe’s standard fees. If you are using Event Tickets Plus, this commission fee is waived, and you will only incur fees from Stripe.
- Doesn’t charge 2% for Paypal.

As for setting up a new PayPal account, please note that this process is typically managed by PayPal itself. Users need to connect to their existing PayPal account by following the connection procedure and entering the correct email address and password. This should connect to their existing account. A new PayPal account would only be created if no account exists with the provided email address.
We recommend contacting PayPal support directly if there were any issues with connecting to your existing PayPal account. They can assist in ensuring transactions are directed to the correct account.
