2 wordpress sites

  • Currently using wordpress – https://www.eteknix.com and i have created the same theme but using a different colour scheme.

    My website is for computer hardware reviews and the other theme i want for a gaming side of the site.

    How would i go about creating another wordpress site to work as a subsite to my current one where i could use the same install, same admin panel but post to a sub site.

    Is this possible or would i need to do a whole different install?

    Example of what i want:

    https://www.hexus.net and https://gaming.hexus.net/

  • Hi,

    You need to install 2 different wordpress on your domain and sub-domain. You can not share a one admin area for both the blog..however, wordpress stores it data in the database so you can share the same database for your both the blogs..

    And then just upload the theme to the second one but what about all of the settings?
