2.0 to 2.0.2 breaks uploads

Did you check in the Options > Miscell if the upload directory is correct? In 2.0 it didn’t exist but in 2.0.2 you can set where the uploaded files go.

There’s no setting for the upload folder.

The bottom of the Miscel page says 2.0.2 though.

Sounds like your update is half-baked. You might want to make another run at it and ensure that you get the update files in the sub-directories as well. Or /wp-admin at a minimum.

I’m having the same problem, and it’s not letting me upload any photos becuase it say “The uploaded file could not be moved to .” So I don’t konw what’s going on?

Thanks. The problem was that my ftp client didn’t overwrite wp-admin/options-misc.php (i set overwrite to “if newer”)

To avoid other problems due to “not-overriding” i uploaded the whole wordpress 2.0.2 with overwriting everything.
