    CSS goes in the < HEAD > Section on the advanced options page.
    Please see this tutorial.

    @tboard:

    The latest versions of dark sub-themes have the comment/sticky/search etc colors fixed to have good background colors.

    So I take it weaver 1.5 is officially dead. The download page doesn’t work. Plus there’s a few plugins that don’t work with this theme and was wondering if they were going to be fixed in version 1.5

    There was a broken link on the download page I missed checking – the theme is there now, and should be available from wp.org soon.

    It is possible that there are some plugins that don’t work with Weaver, but out of the many thousands of Weave users, that never has been a big issue. It usually has to do with something else, like not correctly setting up the plugin.

    There is one of the google translation widgets that seems to want to grab the admin page, but other google translation widgets work fine.

    I have issue with text widgets in Weaver 2010. They moved from the sidebar to the bottom of the page in IE and the newest FireFox. Does anybody have any idea how to fix it or what’s the reason why they moved?
    Thank you in advance,

    There is an issue with 2010 Weaver 1.5.1 and using all 4 widgets in the footer. A new version is available at https://wpweaver.info if that is your problem. (Should be here on wp.org soon).

    If there is another issue, please visit the forum at https://wpweaver.info and post there, including a link to the problem if possible.

    wpweaver;

    Using XAMPP, I followed your instructions on creating child themes. The theme folder I used (“cangrejero”) has a “style.css” pointing to the “2010-weaver” folder (“Template: 2010-weaver”) and has the “@import url(“../2010-weaver/style.css”);” entry.

    Within WP’s administrative panel I can do everything I please, even saving the “My Saved Theme”. When I run XAMPP, I see my theme as I want, and tears of happiness pour down my face. However, there are two howevers.

    First, When I ftp everything to my themes folder at the live host site (“2010-weaver” and “cangrejero” folders), I’m back to square one. Second, I really did not create a child theme at “cangrejero” nor was I able to do so under any other folder name.

    I’m sure I did something wrong, but can’t find what it was. Could you help? Thanks!

    Sorry – this sort of issue is nearly impossible to diagnose from your description – especially given they worked under XAMPP. If they worked there, then transferring to the equivalent directories on a live site should work.

    Love the theme, but I’m having some trouble customizing the horizontal navigation.I would like the navigation links to be justified all the way across the menu bar, instead of aligned to the left. I’ve tried changing the code in various areas, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to make the menu bar text justified? If so, what is the code and where do I place it?

    Thank you!

    Theme is great, but I would like to know how exactly can I remove each and every Link in the Post Title on the main page. I’ve seen couple how-to on google but I can manage to have it erased. Either the trick doesn’t work with 2010 or the problem is me being too new to all of this…

    Thanks!

    Theme is great and I thought I had everything up and running fine until a friend tells me that she can not comment on my posts. When she clicks “Leave a comment” she is directed to a pg. that reads Page not found. Help! I’m a TOTAL NEWBIE!

    Never mind. Figured it out. It was a problem w/the format of the permalink

    Having an interesting issue with getting the title to overlay properly and consistently on the header image. Sometimes it appears and other times it is MIA. Clearing the “Title over Header Image” option always displays the title, but setting it seems to be touch and go. It will stay for a while but then disappears. I notice it most often in Internet Explorer.

    The specific site this has been occuring on is

    Any idea how to track down this ghost?

    @edventrues:

    The moving the title issue has been resolved in newer versions of Weaver. Version 2.0 should be available here before too long, and the RC is now available at https://wpweaver.info.

    The widget area/sidebar shows in Firefox but not in IE????

    Any ideas what is up?
    thank you
