WordPress register-user stopped working because of Spamhaus?

  • I’m trying to find out why people haven’t been able to register onto my blog. So I looked in my OSX 10.5 console and found that the following was happening for about 10 tries:
    9/2/08 5:56:41 PM com.apple.launchd[1] (org.postfix.master[38819]) Stray process with PGID equal to this dead job: PID 38832 PPID 1 bounce

    So I checked:
    /var/log/mail.log
    and found multiple entries of:
    Sep 2 17:55:45 MacMini postfix/smtp[38830]: 469DF18E793: host b.mx.mail.yahoo.com[66.196.97.250] refused to talk to me: 553 Mail from 24.22.216.149 not allowed – 5.7.1 [BL21] Connections not accepted from IP addresses on Spamhaus PBL; see [url]https://postmaster.yahoo.com/550-bl21.html[/url] [550]

    Wow! What is echoed to the console is a really lousy error message. The log file had the real scoop. Spamhaus/yahoo have stopped me in my tracks. ??
