• I’ve done lots of searching and tried many methods, but not solved this yet.

    I have a Child theme with a bespoke style.css

    Basically I want to reduce the white space between the menu and the H1 page/post text on this site under development here: https://a-bc.co.uk/site/. ie: on Home page between the menu and the blue text saying “Independent help, and advice for Community Radio broadcasters”. (NB: I want to do this on both static pages and to a lesser extent on the Blog page)

    I have tried lots of tweaks based upon advice given in various posts I found – none worked for me.

    I’m sure I’m being thick here – please can you show me what I have missed?

    Have you tried reducing the top margin on the H1? This element also has top margin:

    <div id="primary" class="site-content">

    Thanks Andrew. I tried changing the H1 text to Paragraph style, but the gap was still there

    You’ll need to clear your (caching) plugin’s cache, and deactivate your caching plugin if you want to see these changes immediately.
