    Hi I run 3 sites 2 on 2014 theme and 1 on 2017 theme the menu button works ok on the 2017 theme via my android mobile but my 2014 does not work. I can get the front page but the menu selector does not work.

    Also checked this function on another Samsung Android and a IPhone and still no joy plus cache cleared on all phones before checking

    Site works fine on PC/Laptop and tablet

  • Have you own CSS? This kind of problems commonly relates with z-index or visibility properties.

    Hi Tapiohuuhaa
    I have access the the theme editor and I have added things in the past but I a careful so could you point me in the right direction on where to look .

    Also it worked fine before and css was not touched ? I always update my plugins and also another issue is I can only upgrade to php 7.1 if I select 7.2 or 7.3 then I get a lot of text above each page when in theme dashboard Don’t know if this is of any help

    Hi I have solved the problem
    I deactivated various plugins and narrowed it down to “Autoptimize”

    If autoptimize you’ll have to do some (re-)configuration;

    First and foremost try to identify what is breaking your site by just disabling CSS or JS optimization.

    Once you know that, dive in and try identify what code/ files (CSS or JS) are responsible for the broken feature and try excluding that. If the problem is with JS, chances are you’ll find useful information on your browser’s developer console.
